Sara Hogan - Practice Manager - Sara loves animals and couldn’t imagine a life without them! Growing up she relished in any opportunity to be around animals, including her dogs and horses. Sara volunteered in a therapeutic equestrian program teaching and aiding children with special needs about horses, as well as a translator and advocate for Leader Dogs for the Blind. She hails from the Midwest and after graduating from Oakland University with her bachelors in Biology she moved to Chicago where she worked as a veterinary nurse and stem cell laboratory director for several years. After relocating to the DC area in 2015 Sara couldn’t wait to jump back into the veterinary field. Sara is thrilled to be a part of the Clarendon Animal Care team! She lives in Arlington with her husband Patrick (who is just as big of an animal-lover as she is!) and their Pointer-Boxer mix, Peyton.
