Julia Cavagna
Veterinary Assistant - Joined CAC June 2024
Julia is from a military family and spent 9 years of her childhood between bases in Germany! She went to college at University of Lynchburg in Virginia, originally earning her BS in human nursing, but switched to health promotion/public health with plans to work in the equine-assisted therapy field – but had always wanted to be in some part of the veterinary field as a child and is so happy she is now!
Julia’s previous experience is in equine general practice, emergency, sport, and repro med (fully ambulatory!) but she’s eager to broaden her skill set of caring for dogs and cats at CAC! She does keep a special interests in diagnostic imaging, behavior, wound care, and neurology (for all species, humans too!).
