Veterinary Assistant - Joined CAC November 2023

Syd is a Colorado native who recently moved to Alexandria, VA after completing her B.S. in Biology at Colorado State University. She’s had several exotic and common pets throughout her life, and her love for animals has led her to a variety of animal-related fields, such as wildlife rehabilitation, animal research, and veterinary medicine!

She plans to go back to school to get her vet tech license while she explores the possibility of pursuing a DVM degree. In her free time, she enjoys painting, writing, and giving in to her dog’s demands for perpetual playtime!
