Dr. Taylor grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, and completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia in 2003. She then moved to Arlington, VA where she began working at a consulting firm.

She quickly decided her true passion was veterinary medicine and went on to obtain her DVM in 2010 from Virginia Tech. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating small animal internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. She stayed in Seattle for nearly two more years working in general practice.

While she loved living on the West Coast, she and her husband ultimately made the decision to move back to Virginia to be closer to friends and family. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Northern Virginia since 2013 and has been at Clarendon Animal Care since 2020.

She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, however, she has a special affinity for wellness/preventative care. She loves getting to follow animals from the puppy/kitten stage all the way to being seniors and helping animals lead their best, healthiest lives.

Dr. Taylor lives with her husband and daughter in Burke, VA. In her spare time, she enjoys taking trips to Virginia Beach to see her family, exploring the hiking trails in and around Northern Virginia, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends
