Aida Gebretekle, LVT

Aida (pronounced eye-da) is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and has been in the DMV area since 2005. After graduating with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech, she went on to obtain an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from NoVa Community College. She is also possibly interested in pursuing vet school in the future. She has been in the veterinary medicine field since 2015 and has a special interest in anesthesia and analgesia, continued education, and low-stress handling! While she does not currently have any pets, cats big and small have a special place in her heart. In her free time, she has a passion for music and enjoys exploring new restaurants and hiking trails (her favorite is Olympic National Park).
