Initially, an art school graduate, Alex spent many years working in dog rescue before she decided to make the move into veterinary medicine. Her previous experience includes emergency medicine and high-volume spay/neuter. She joined us during her LVT internship in 2015 and we never let her leave!

Qualifications:

• BA in Art from Virginia Commonwealth University

• AAS Degree in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College

• Fear Free Certified Elite Professional

Alex has a special interest in behavior, and is pursuing further specialization in the field. She is also the brains behind our social media!

In her free time, Alex loves to train her dogs, ride horses, and chase after her two young daughters.
