Cassie Smith, DVM

Associate Veterinarian – CAC South

Cassie Smith is a proud native of Virginia, born and raised in south central Virginia. She started her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech before earning her DVM at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Smith completed a one-year rotating internship at VCA SouthPaws in Fairfax, which helped expand her professional interests and solidified her commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Smith enjoys a variety of veterinary disciplines and has particular enthusiasm for neurology, emergency medicine, and senior pet care. She also has a strong interest in community outreach as a way to enhance pet welfare and empower pet owners in our area!

Dr. Smith lives in Arlington with her husband, Jack. In her free time she enjoys traveling, visiting family, playing board games, and relaxing at home.
