Rita Stock Da Cunha, DVM

Associate Veterinarian – CAC North

Dr. Cunha is originally from Lisbon, Portugal, but also spent part of her childhood living in Boston and in London, UK! She obtained a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California Santa Barbara and her DVM from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Cunha has a particular interest in preventative care, neurology, internal medicine, and surgery.

Dr. Cunha is very excited to be starting her veterinary career in DC. She did an externship at CAC while she was a veterinary student and loved the team and high-quality medical care that CAC provides their clients and patients.

In her free time, Dr. Cunha enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends and visiting her family back home in Portugal. You’ll also find her exploring DC’s museums, restaurants, and Northern Virginia’s hiking trails.
