Schedule your first vet visit
HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-
Prior to setting up the appointment, create your patient account in our Pet Portal. This will allow us to more efficiently schedule your first appointment when you call, as well as give you access to your pet’s reminders once they are established in our system.
-
Within our pet portal: choose your clinic location and and search for an appointment to request. If you are unable to find a date/time that works, please give us a call .
A deposit for the cost of the office visit will be required at the time of appointment request confirmation for all new clients. This is applied to the cost of the office visit at the time of the appointment, though in the case of missed or late cancellations this deposit will be processed. You may call us after submitting the appointment request online, or if scheduling after hours we will call you. This deposit is required in order for us to accept and schedule a new-client appointment request.
-
After setting up an appointment, contact your previous vet and request records to be emailed to us at info@clarendonanimalcare.com or request a copy yourself. For new pets, take a picture or scan records and email them to us at info@clarendonanimalcare.com.
We need your pet’s previous medical history and vaccination records sent to us before your appointment in order to best be able to serve you and your pet.

Appointment and Payment Policy
Clarendon Animal Care operates on an appointment basis. We have generous appointment lengths in order to allow plenty of time for examination, necessary procedures, and to address all of a client’s questions and concerns. We strive to stay as “on-schedule” as possible and ask for the same effort from our clients when arriving for an appointment. We make every effort to remind clients of their appointments via email, text, and phone calls, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the client to arrive on time for the scheduled appointment.
While we make it a priority to see all of our patients in a timely manner, it is inevitable that emergencies happen and that we will sometimes need to keep clients and patients waiting. We ask for your understanding in these cases, as we would want to provide the same level of urgent or emergency care if your pet were having an emergency.
We understand that things come up that can cause one to run late or miss an appointment. In order to respect our clients that arrive on time to their appointment, if a client arrives late for an appointment we reserve the right to reschedule or handle as an urgent care case with a potential additional fee. Additionally, while every effort will be made to see the patient in a timely manner, there may be an extended wait time as clients who have arrived on time may be attended to first.
Missed surgical or dental appointments may be charged up to a $100 fee, and missed appointments or appointments rescheduled less than 24 hours prior will require deposits for future bookings. Cancellation of a surgical or dental appointment with less than 24 hours notice may also result in a cancellation fee of up to $100. All payments are due in full at the time of service.
“Just wow. We had an emergency with one of our kittens and called four places and the emergency vet and none could take us.
Clarendon Animal Care was so empathetic and agreed to take us at the end of the day. Every staff member-reception, techs, the vet—were so upbeat and friendly.”
