One of our LVTs, Alyssa, is still working on her research study and needs volunteers! She’s studying dogs’ physiological and behavioral response to having their blood drawn in the veterinary hospital. Qualifying participants will receive $20 OFF their dog’s annual heartworm test and the technician visit fee may be waived in some cases – you can find more detailed information here.

The Hardest Job

Written by our own, Dr. Harris Fitzgerel, this article gives insight into what many refer to as the hardest job in the clinic: being a receptionist! While the role is thought to just be answering phones, replying to emails, and scheduling exams our front desk members are actually the first point of contact every time, triage each concern that comes through the clinic, and supports the team daily!
